Room Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Room Attendant to join our hospitality team at Red Lion Port Angeles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guestrooms to the highest standards, including making beds, dusting furniture, and replenishing supplies.
  • Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping patios and washing windows.
  • Safeguard hotel and guest property, and handle lost and found items properly.
  • Report necessary repairs to management and maintain clean and well-stocked room attendant carts.
  • Inspect work areas for potential hazards and restock supplies and clean equipment at end of shift.
  • Respond promptly to guest and management requests, and greet all guests warmly.
  • Stay informed about hotel activities and represent the hotel positively at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Housekeeping and customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and ability to work any day and hour of the week.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision, and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Strong teamwork skills, effective communication abilities, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
