Your Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a commitment to customer service to fulfill the role of Food Service Associate within our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine interest in elder care and demonstrate the ability to engage positively with both staff and residents. A proactive approach to achieving excellence in service and a creative mindset are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dining areas and ensure all workstations are organized and clean.
  • Take meal orders and provide service with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Clear tables promptly during and after meal times.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding menu selections.
  • Deliver hot and cold meals to various locations as required.
  • Transport necessary non-food items to designated areas efficiently.
  • Uphold sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols at all times.
  • Contribute to a high standard of customer service for residents and their visitors.
  • Assist with dishwashing and the distribution of clean utensils and dishes as needed.
  • Maintain personal hygiene standards and adhere to the dress code.
  • Complete all assigned cleaning tasks diligently.
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are kept in safe and sanitary conditions.
  • Participate in training and educational sessions as directed.
  • Carry out specific duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
