Pipefitter Specialist

PeopleReady Skilled Trades Division is seeking experienced Class A Pipefitters to join our team. As a Pipefitter Specialist, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring and cutting pipes, and installing and securing pipe systems.

• Reading and Interpreting Drawings
• Cutting openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
• Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required shape using hand and power tools
• Testing systems for leaks using testing equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining pipe units and fittings and flushing systems
• Installing clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems using hand and power tools

• Must have all necessary hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Pass background check and drug test
• Able to install pipe systems on board vessels in a safe and productive manner
• Able to safely rig equipment following all OSHA requirements
• Inspect work, identify potential problems, initiate corrective actions
• Ensure correct work procedures are adhered to
