Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Crisis Care Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Under the direction of the Primary RN, identify patient/family needs and coordinate Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) provision of services under physician's orders.
- Utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and enhance the quality of life for the patient/family unit.
- Supervise and collaborate with Primary RN and/or CTM.
- Graduate of a licensed certified Practical Nursing program and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
- Maintain LPN license in accordance with State of Florida requirements.
- Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Current IV Therapy certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
- Must provide proof of valid Florida State Driver's License, valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee's HR file.
