We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). As a key member of our Engineering and Technical Services function, you will be responsible for maintaining complex commercial HVAC systems by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion of duties
- Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment
- Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred
- Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy loads
- Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and experience with Niagara Building controls
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
- Sophisticated math skills and ability to calculate complex figures
