Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational, and therapy services to individuals with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.
We have three residential locations - the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, the Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin. Our Community Day Services program at each site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside at Marklund and those who come in from the community.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens and interviews, and preparing status reports of recruitment activity.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of high-volume recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities- Adheres to Marklund's hiring process for each position assigned
- Maintains and posts jobs on the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Maintains and posts jobs on other posting sources like college boards
- Conducts phone screens and interviews as assigned
- Sources candidates to fill assigned positions
- Prepares status reports of recruitment activity
- Manage and build talent pipeline
- Attend recruitment events
- Travels to other Marklund facilities as assigned
