Psychologist Opening in Florida

Located in Bradenton, FL, our organization is seeking a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to provide supervision to predoctoral psychology interns in our APA-accredited program.

Job Summary:

This psychologist will be a member of the training committee, working with psychologists from five sites across the Southwestern Florida region. Responsibilities include supervision of interns and practicum students, provision of psychotherapy and psychological assessment, and consultation to stakeholders within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise predoctoral psychology interns in our APA-accredited program
  • Provide psychotherapy and psychological assessment services
  • Consult with stakeholders to support diagnostic clarification and holistic treatment planning
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support client care
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship or equivalent
  • Active license to practice as a psychologist in the state of Florida, or ability to obtain Florida license by date of hire
