About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Mortenson Family Dental. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with dentists to diagnose and treat dental conditions, utilizing x-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests.
  • Perform periodontal evaluations, scaling, and root planning for patients, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.
  • Document all clinical notes according to practice guidelines before patient dismissal.

Requirements

  • Dental Hygiene Certificate/Degree from an accredited program.
  • Active dental hygiene license issued by the state board.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.
  • Laser Debridement Certification.
  • General Supervision Privileges.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination.
  • Intraoral Camera.
  • Caries Detection.
  • Velescope.
  • Open Dental Software.
  • Digital Radiograph Technology.
