Job Summary

Model1 Commercial Vehicles, Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team as a Refurb Technician. In this critical role, you will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments to diagnose, test, and repair vehicles using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to meet productivity and quality standards
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient and effective vehicle refurbishment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the industry through ongoing training and education
Requirements
  • Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Requires experience in one or more of the following areas: Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus
  • Appropriate hand tools; tool program available
  • Valid Driver's License for vehicle classes working on; CDL is a plus
  • Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Must have a great attitude and work ethic, be on time every day
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position
  • Must have good manual dexterity
  • Must have the ability to maintain a valid driver's license, which includes successfully completing Medical Exam, Driving Test, and all other license requirements
