Job Title: Hatchery Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Hatchery Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and ability to maintain and repair complex equipment.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

This role is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working with machines and are eager to learn more about the poultry industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair hatchery equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular checks on machines every hour to prevent any potential issues.
  • Ensure all eggs are properly stored and pushed back to their designated areas.
  • Check water chillers for proper operation and perform necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Close all gates and wash out waste tanks after each use.
  • Pull and push heavy pallets and racks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Able to work 12-hour shifts at night.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Able to read numbers and understand basic mathematical concepts.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with hot temperatures and wet floors.
