About the Role
Kaiser Aluminum is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Warrick Operations team in Newburgh, Indiana. As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide electrical engineering services to the Rolling Mill, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering services to the Rolling Mill, including process improvements and electrical system design.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Develop and implement PLC and control system programs to support process improvements and new electrical systems.
- Lead and participate in process improvements with multi-discipline technical staff, maintenance, and production.
Requirements
- 1-8 years of process engineering experience required or equivalent industrial experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
- Experience with PLC's, HMI's, AC/DC drives & motors, low & medium power distribution.
- Experience in leading, managing, and executing electrical projects.
