Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $42.69 to $71.73 per hour, with negotiable bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic services, under the supervision of a physician.
  • Collaborate with the treating physician and nursing staff to gather medical histories, perform physical examinations, and establish treatment plans.
  • Conduct daily patient rounds, recognizing and evaluating situations requiring immediate medical attention from a supervising physician.
  • Order, review, and interpret laboratory and other diagnostic tests within the scope of practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
  • Coordinate admissions with supervising physicians and provide necessary actions and information.
  • Develop and implement effective discharge plans in collaboration with case management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Pursue DEA licensure for Arizona and maintain certifications in ACLS and BLS.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree as a Physician Assistant.
  • Be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Arizona.
  • Obtain NCCPA certification.
  • Have DEA licensure for Arizona.
  • Hold American Heart Association BLS and ACLS cards.
  • Be credentialed as an allied health professional.
  • Preferred: 1 year of advanced practice experience in neurosurgery.
