About the Position

The Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (W/B HIDTA) Investigative Support Center (ISC) within George Mason University's (GMU) Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy (CEBCP) is seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of crime data to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies to gather and share intelligence
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports and briefings to support law enforcement initiatives
  • Manage special projects and provide training to new analysts and law enforcement personnel
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle and experience with intelligence analysis
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and law enforcement intelligence analysis
  • Knowledge of federal regulations regarding the collection and dissemination of intelligence information
