Salary: $44,000 - $45,000 per year

Job Description: This role involves instructing students to improve their academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills through a defined course of study. The candidate will administer developmental testing programs, subject-specific assessments, and adapt classroom work for individualized learning plans within established lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instructs students for the purpose of improving their success in academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills through a defined course of study.
• Adapts classroom work for the purpose of providing students with instructional materials that address individualized learning plans within established lesson plans.
• Demonstrates methods required to perform classroom and/or subject-specific assignments for the purpose of providing an effective program that addresses individual student requirements.
• Collaborates and communicates with instructional staff, other school personnel, foster parents, administrators, and a variety of community resources for the purpose of improving the overall quality of student outcomes.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in education, minimum 3 years' prior relevant teaching experience working with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities, ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds, maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications, valid state driver's license, and meet state criminal background check requirements.

Estimated Salary Range: Based on the title, job description, and location, the estimated annual salary for this position is $44,000 - $45,000.
