Role Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who shares our vision and is eager to embrace challenges in a dynamic startup environment. As a vital member of our Supply Chain team, you will be based at our manufacturing facility, contributing to our fast-paced operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of raw materials, components, and equipment necessary for production, including receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Efficiently assemble kits of required parts and materials, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Inspect incoming supplies for compliance and damage.
- Maintain rigorous inventory management practices, including monitoring shelf life.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts.
- Document inventory transactions in our software systems, linking them to relevant operational areas.
Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets and resource planning tools.
- Experience in manufacturing inventory management and kitting.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of cranes and rigging for safe handling of heavy items.
- Passion for boating and sustainable energy solutions.
