Job Summary:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team for a housecalls opportunity in Manhattan, NY. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for conducting routine check-ups, providing health advice, and evaluating symptoms to determine the best course of treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Routine Check-ups: Assess patients' health conditions, identify potential issues, and provide personalized advice for healthy habits and preventative actions.
- Provide Health Advice: Offer guidance on diet, hygiene, and other healthy practices to promote overall well-being.
- Evaluate Symptoms: Conduct examinations to determine the cause of illness and develop an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and patient medical history.
- Prescribe and Interpret Lab Tests: Order and analyze lab tests to obtain more information about underlying infections or abnormalities.
- Prescribe Medications: Provide comprehensive instructions for medication administration and monitor patient response.
- Collaborate with Medical Team: Work with physicians, physician assistants, and nurses to form a high-performing medical team.
- Examine and Treat Injuries: Provide treatment for injuries and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Keep Patient Records: Maintain accurate records of patients' diseases, operations, and other significant information.
- Cultivate Patient Trust: Foster a climate of trust and compassion for patients.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Attend conferences and seminars to remain current with medical developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Active State License: Must have an active medical license in the state of New York.
- Board Certification or Eligibility: Must be board certified or board eligible in primary care medicine.
