Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Graduate Registered Nurse to join our team at Tenet Healthcare Corporation. As a Graduate Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistency and quality of care, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Under the supervision of a registered nurse, coordinate patient care activities, including patient education, and assume the role of care coordinator for uncomplicated patients.
  • Provide direct patient care, including determining patient and family needs, identifying goals, and developing and implementing plans to meet those goals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, care management specialists, and other healthcare providers to carry out the nursing process.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Temporary authorization to practice as a graduate nurse under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, as required by law, regulation, or policy.
  • Licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Michigan within 90 days of hire.

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and analytical skills, with the ability to provide comprehensive care and formulate and document care plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
