Senior SAP FICO Implementation Specialist

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP FICO Consultant

This role requires a seasoned professional to join our consulting team, where you will play a key part in helping clients discover and define problem statements, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts, and implement the deployment plan. Additionally, you will support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • The role is based in Austin, TX, or Sunnyvale, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in SAP FICO, including 2 years of experience in full-life cycle implementation projects.
  • Experience with FI-Logistics processes, such as buy-sell processes, third-party shipments, and intercompany transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise in configuring FICO modules GL, AP, AR, and Rev Recognition.
  • Good knowledge in CO areas, including cost center accounting, profit center accounting, and COPA.
  • Solid understanding of the integration with MM and SD is essential.
  • Good understanding of EDI/IDocs, process codes, partner profiles, etc.
  • Experience in writing detailed functional specifications, preparing test scenarios, writing test scripts, and performing end-to-end testing.
  • Collaboration with ABAP, Basis, Data Warehouse, and other teams in the design and implementation of SAP FI functionalities.
  • Accounting background and good process knowledge are highly preferred.
  • SAP Certification, CA, CPA, or MBA in Finance is an added advantage.
  • Analytical and communication skills.
  • Good planning and coordination skills.
  • Experience and desire to work in a management-consulting environment.

The role may involve extensive travel and requires the ability to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face-to-face.
