Cleaning Specialist

Excel Facility Services Group is seeking a dedicated cleaning specialist who can deliver exceptional sanitation services.

Position Overview:

As a cleaning specialist, you will be tasked with maintaining cleanliness and order in designated areas. Your role will involve executing the cleaning protocols for all assigned locations and any additional sites as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors.
• Sanitize and maintain bathrooms.
• Clean and disinfect countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in communal areas.
• Restock necessary supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and shared spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, ensuring cleanliness of bins as needed.
• Dust and clean cashier areas and ceiling light fixtures.
• Wash windows and mirrors.
• Keep janitorial closets organized and safe.
• Adhere to safety protocols and utilize safety measures.
• Complete the scope of work as assigned by management per location.
• Conduct general cleaning tasks throughout the facility.
• Restock supplies in designated areas.
• Maintain the aesthetic and cleanliness of assigned areas and inform supervisors of any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance job performance.
• Request janitorial supplies from supervisors to ensure adequate stock for daily operations.
• Ensure security by locking doors at the end of shifts, if applicable.
• Utilize the Time and Attendance system for reporting hours for payroll.
• Complete the IVR system if required, or promptly notify management of any issues, as failure to report can impact payroll.
• Wear the designated uniform and identification while on duty.
