Shift: Days / 8a-5p, 8x5, 40hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
  • OH License
  • 1 year' experience
  • No prior job-related work experience
  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Type of degree: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
  • BLS
  • 1-3 years of job-related experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams.
  • This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning.
  • The therapist participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities.
  • The therapist is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Occupational Therapy license in State of Ohio.Current Hand Therapist certification.Current CPR certification required at the time of hire.
  • Experience: Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
