Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Resource Pool team in a Per Diem Med Surg Cluster position. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in an inpatient hospital setting, utilizing evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Modify patient plans of care based on data collection and individual patient needs, ensuring effective communication with interprofessional colleagues and caregivers.
  • Delegate tasks according to scope of practice, promoting efficient use of resources and maximizing patient outcomes.
  • Participate in developing strategies to promote healthy communities and practice environments, recognizing the importance of data collection and utilization in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in continuing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses or appropriate state board, or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • One year of nursing experience, with a strong foundation in clinical skills and critical thinking.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
