About the Role

This position requires a strong focus on safety, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures, as well as 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment. A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME are also essential.
