Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Grant Writer to join our team at Friends of Youth. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and writing grant proposals to secure funding for our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and write grant proposals to secure funding for Friends of Youth programs and services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure grant proposals align with program goals and objectives
  • Manage and track grant proposals from submission to award
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. non-profit management, public administration, communications)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in grant writing or a related field
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
