We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at PIH Health. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications throughout our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and perform all aspects of medication preparation and dispensing, maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide expert drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the knowledge they need to provide optimal patient care.
- Monitor patients' medication therapy and take responsibility for their outcomes, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain the security of our pharmacy department and serve as a guardian of our hospital's drug supply.
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy recognized by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
- Pharm.D. degree and current California registration as a pharmacist.
- Advanced knowledge of pharmacokinetics and the ability to apply it in a hospital setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current BLS and ACLS Heart Saver Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Hospital pharmacy experience or graduation from an accredited hospital residency program.
