Painter - Healthcare Specialist

As a CBRE Painter, you will be responsible for protecting, preparing, and painting both interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the general operation, repair and maintenance of the building's structure and grounds.
- Perform interior preparation, painting, touch-up, and finishing of areas in need of commercial-level painting.
- Use necessary tools and equipment to complete duties related to the application of varnish, polyurethane, primer paint, and other specialty coatings.
- Repair and remodel imperfections, including masking, preparing, and protecting surfaces to ensure facilities are properly maintained.
- Review assigned work orders, estimate time and order materials, equipment, tools to complete assigned work.
- Work with other craftsmen to complete various projects or repairs.
- Collaborate with employees, end users and stakeholders concerning work orders, prints, and sketches to understand the structure that needs to be built or repaired.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.
- Participate in all required HSE-related programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
- Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of their own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
