Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our Women's Services Unit at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to expectant mothers and their families in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate the care of laboring mothers, ensuring timely and effective interventions to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including assisting with deliveries and C-sections.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols.
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in obstetrics or women's health.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification, with ACLS and NRP certification required within six months of hire.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
