Job Overview

Position: Project Coordinator

Salary Range: $66,560 - $75,000

Howard CDM, a prominent commercial construction and development firm in Southern California, is on the lookout for a dedicated and collaborative Project Coordinator to enhance our dynamic team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to thrive in a vibrant and fast-paced workplace, where employee development and advancement are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in assisting the project team with various tasks, including:

  • Maintaining relationships with subcontractors
  • Ensuring subcontractor compliance by monitoring contracts, licenses, and insurance documentation
  • Assisting with billing processes
  • Tracking essential project documentation such as preliminary notices and lien releases
  • Managing data entry and documentation for contract modifications and subcontractor agreements
  • Supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent in achieving successful project completions
  • Communicating relevant project updates to clients and team members
  • Collecting and organizing project close-out documents
  • Keeping the project team informed about project progress and potential issues
  • Assisting in the bidding process as required
  • Providing support to the Controller with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction project coordination, billing, and contract management
  • Familiarity with billing forms such as G702/703
  • Experience with AIA documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Sage300CRE is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree is advantageous
