Job Title: Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Carter Bank & Trust. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Identify and analyze business risks and develop recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with management to implement audit findings and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with management and internal clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Relevant work experience in internal auditing or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
