Overview

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a seasoned retail professional to join our store management team as a Store Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager, or Merchandise Manager. As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for coaching and guiding associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Purpose:

Our management team members are the driving force behind our store's success. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of one of our multi-million dollar retail stores. You will be expected to lead by example, drive results, and bring our company values to life in our stores.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the store team in all aspects of store operations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of associates.
  • Manage store expenses and payroll budgets.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Manage the associate experience and handle personnel issues.
  • Model outstanding customer service practices for your team and ensure associates consistently deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage the back of house operations, including receiving, markdowns, and point of service.
  • Assist the management team in all areas of store operations, service, and merchandising.
  • Implement human resource initiatives, including staffing, hiring, and scheduling.
Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of retail management experience at an off-price, big box, specialty, or medium to large-sized, multi-unit retail organization. You must have experience managing a multi-million dollar sales volume and expense budget. You must be available to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Travel may also be required from time-to-time.
