The Clinical Social Worker in Outpatient Psychiatry will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families cope with complex personal, family, medical and environmental problems. This includes performing psychosocial and risk assessments, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide clinical supervision to student interns and work collaboratively with the Outpatient Psychiatry team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical social work services to patients and families, including psychosocial and risk assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Develop and implement interventions and treatment plans to address complex personal, family, medical, and environmental problems.
Provide clinical supervision to student interns and support their professional development.
Collaborate with the Outpatient Psychiatry team to ensure high-quality patient care and achieve departmental goals.
Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must have a Master's degree in Social Work, LICSW, with a minimum of 2 years of Social Work experience. Experience working with children and adolescents, as well as in a medical environment, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Spanish language skills are strongly preferred. This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus and offers competitive compensation and benefits, including flexible schedules, affordable health insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
