We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct MRI procedures and tests to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.
- Verify patient identification and document pregnancy status for patients of childbearing age.
- Operate MRI scanners, administer contrast agents, and troubleshoot equipment and protocol issues.
- Interpret protocols and select appropriate scanning parameters.
- Administer oral and IV contrast agents, and transmit images to PACS and EMR systems.
- Verify patient identification and demographic information on PACS images.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application.
- Prior education, training, and experience that provides the ability to perform the assigned tasks.
