Position Overview

If so, the Mainfreight Americas Leadership Development Program could be the perfect fit for you.

Beginning in an entry-level operational capacity, you will gain comprehensive insights into our advanced global logistics processes. Every aspect of the operations is crucial for grasping the overall framework. Throughout your journey in the Future Leaders Program, you will engage in both operational duties and an external sales position to fully understand our core business and advance into leadership roles.

Program Highlights


• Initially immerse yourself in the operations of one of our primary divisions: Logistics (warehousing), Air & Ocean (Import/Export), or Domestic Transport.


• Engage in customer service activities.


• Participate in pricing strategies.


• Coordinate shipments effectively.


• Oversee warehouse operations.


• Transition into outside sales (with the possibility of accelerating into sales after the first six months).


• As you familiarize yourself with the operations, you will be entrusted with increased responsibilities and scope in your role.


• You will be expected to enhance processes within these functions.


• You are encouraged to carve out your own career trajectory – the opportunities are in your hands.


• From there, you will advance into leadership roles based on your motivation and capabilities.


• While there are no predetermined rotations between business units, internal transfers are an option.


• You will receive support through a structured development program, which includes leadership training, coaching, project work, peer networking, and additional resources to enhance your personal leadership and business acumen.

Candidate Profile


• Recent graduates with a bachelor's degree in any field are encouraged to apply.


• Candidates should have no more than two years of professional experience (excluding internships and academic work).
