Staff iOS Engineer

Procore Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Staff iOS Engineer to join our Product & Technology Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with our customer base to translate their needs into innovative SaaS solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical issues and opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and decisions.
  • Articulate the 'why' behind current work priorities and understand when to accrue and pay down technical debt.
  • Actively promote a culture of psychological safety within the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years of experience building iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
  • Broad and deep understanding of iOS's architectural components and the MVC architecture.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs using JSON.
  • Understanding of multi-threading, concurrent programming, memory management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience working with offline available application experiences.
  • Proven working knowledge of software engineering techniques, methodologies, and practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work closely with others.
  • Experience leading large initiatives and ability to course correct as needed.
