About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical/OR Registered Nurse to join our team at Fertility Centers of Illinois. As a key member of our procedural team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain clinical expertise in the surgical aspects of patient care.
  • Work closely with physicians and staff to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care.
  • Direct all aspects of patient surgical care, completing the nursing process in the operating room.
  • Manage the nursing care for patients throughout the surgical preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases.
  • Perform initial preoperative assessments, introduce yourself to patients and families, verify patient identities, and explain subsequent phases of surgery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and others as necessary to coordinate patient care and services.
  • Perform procedures within the RN scope of practice and established company policies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state RN license without limitations required.
  • Current ACLS or BLS certification, if no ACLS certification approved by Manager.
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience in IVF Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience preferred.
  • Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
