Job Summary

The Database Administrator will be responsible for handling database administration for mission-critical transactional and data warehouse SQL servers. This role will focus on continuous improvement and technology strategy, managing and maintaining all production and non-production databases. The successful candidate will have expertise in MS SQL Server, data warehouse, and web applications deployment, with a strong focus on database performance tuning, indexing, and execution plans.

Responsibilities
  • Support multiple services and databases of medium to high complexity, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility of data.
  • Work on multiple projects as a project leader or advisor, coaching junior technical staff and providing expert knowledge in MS SQL Server, data warehouse, and web applications deployment.
  • Develop and maintain SSIS packages, ensure database security and compliance with industry standards, and perform backup and recovery operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement database solutions, ensuring optimal database performance and cost.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in MS SQL Server database administration and database internals.
  • Strong focus on SQL Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, with expertise in database performance tuning, indexing, and execution plans.
  • Hands-on experience in on-prem to cloud migration, SSIS package development, and database security.
  • 5+ years of experience in MS Internet Information Services (IIS) with a strong focus on server administration and web applications deployment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
