About the Position

This Postdoctoral Scholar position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the Future of Work, inclusive AI, social robotics, and data-scientific innovations. As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to work on innovative projects, collaborate with renowned experts, and develop your skills in research and teaching.

Responsibilities
  • Teach two courses during the academic year, focusing on topics at the intersection of your expertise and our instructional needs.
  • Conduct original research in accordance with your interests and expertise, with the aim of publishing your work in top-tier journals and conferences.
  • Participate in activities of the iSchool's Center for the Futures of Work, Information and Technology, and engage in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Mentor junior scholars in research activities and contribute to iSchool service activities, including attending faculty meetings to gain insight into the academic environment.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in an information studies-related discipline and have a strong intention to enter academia as a research-active faculty member. You should possess research skills at a level expected of someone who has completed a PhD, including experience in data collection, funding proposal development, and research presentations. Additionally, you should have some teaching experience and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
