Job Overview

The Hydrovac Technician plays a crucial role in the excavation and construction industry, utilizing specialized equipment to perform essential tasks.

Qualifications
Must possess a Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.

H2S certification and Safe Land training are mandatory.

A clean driving record is essential.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Willingness to work extended hours as necessary.

Capability to endure extreme outdoor weather conditions (hot, cold, ice, rain, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Operate Hydrovac machinery and other construction equipment for excavation, loading, digging, or breaking materials.

Serve as the crew lead, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.

Deliver safe, efficient, and professional services to clients.

Manage the rigging of equipment in and out of job sites.

Stage equipment appropriately for various tasks.

Complete all necessary paperwork accurately on a daily basis.

Oversee the successful execution of hydro excavation projects, including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging, utilizing high-pressure wands and vacuum systems.

Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic repairs on equipment as needed.

Document all client, Federal, State, and Customer paperwork as required by law and company policy, ensuring clarity and legibility.

Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections to maintain equipment safety and functionality.
