Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Trust Officer to interact with clients, manage trust accounts, and perform administrative tasks with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Interaction: Deal directly with trust beneficiaries and agency clients regarding personal financial situations.
  • Trust Administration: Maintain professional rapport and working relationships with trustees or COI's as needed to sustain the account relationship.
  • Research and Compliance: Research the terms of the governing document in terms of current governing state and federal laws.
  • Disbursements and Transactions: Monitor, enter or cause to be entered disbursements from accounts, and place purchase and sale transactions as needed or directed.
  • Client Communication: Create original correspondence to clients, attorneys, CPAs or other professionals as needed.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the governing document and current pertinent law.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required. JD, CTFA, AEP or similar designation preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience, in the area of trust administration with a demonstrated track record of skills and abilities.
