Job Summary

This Backend Engineer position is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge back-end services. As a key member of our Global Technology organization, you will play a critical role in protecting Nike's brand value.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality back-end services using various programming languages, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to align on organizational and team level goals.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, leveraging modern DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and related tools like Terraform.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

\
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a combination of relevant professional experience, education, and training.
  • At least 1 year of professional back-end software development experience.
  • Strong foundation in programming languages, including object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with AWS, including SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, and other cloud-native technologies.
