Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Engenium Staffing. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our software development and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain containerized infrastructure, including bare metal and virtualized environments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and containerization solutions, ensuring our infrastructure remains secure and efficient.
  • Implement system enhancements to meet security, application, and operational requirements.
  • Ensure maximum system uptime and respond promptly to hardware and software issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve operational and performance issues, collaborating with customers to set priorities and report progress.
  • Mentor and supervise a diverse team of engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, including deployments, networking, and storage.
  • Experience with scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills, with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Knowledge of identity management, SSO architectures, and PKI infrastructures, ensuring secure access to our systems.
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot cloud environments, including VMware, AWS, and GCP.
  • Experience with hybrid and private cloud solutions, such as VMware and Kubernetes.
  • Strong automation skills, including scripting for automation, reporting, and system management.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Security+ or CISSP certification, with a requirement to obtain within four months of hire.
  • U.S. Citizenship and a Secret security clearance, with TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
