Key Responsibilities:
As a Superintendent, you will oversee all phases of bridge and railway construction projects. Your duties will include:
1. Directing and supervising construction activities for bridge and railway projects, managing a crew of 5-10 members.
2. Ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to engineer-approved specifications.
3. Coordinating onsite personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
4. Upholding safety standards and maintaining a clean job site.
5. Operating heavy machinery and tools as required.
6. Managing pile driving operations and ensuring adherence to quality control measures.
7. Effectively communicating with project stakeholders, including engineers and project managers.
8. Addressing onsite issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
9. Preparing and submitting regular project updates to senior management.
10. Leading daily safety meetings and briefings to promote a culture of safety.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. 5-10 years of experience in construction, particularly in bridge and railway projects.
2. Proven expertise in pile driving operations.
3. Ability to obtain necessary safety clearances.
