Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at River Grove Health and Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
  • Take and record patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
  • Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager, asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
  • Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
  • Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.


Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
  • Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
