We have an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth. Our hospital offers a range of specialties, including cardiology and surgical services.

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with departmental requirements and state standards. As a vital part of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist performs diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered respiratory care
  • Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures
  • Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you will need:

  • An Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) certification or State Registered Respiratory Therapist TX licensure
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 4 months of employment start date
