Job Summary

As a skilled Radiologic Technologist at JobRialto, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality radiographs of patients within the department and with portable equipment in a timely manner. You will ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines for patients and yourself, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment, and operating radiographic equipment safely and competently.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain quality radiographs of patients within the department and with portable equipment
Comply with radiation safety guidelines and utilize Personal Protective Equipment
Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently
Perform computer operations, including Meditech and PACS, and ensure proper charges are entered and referring physician's orders are verified
Provide patient care in a professional and courteous manner
Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and maintain room cleanliness and neat appearance of work areas and dressing rooms
Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and all types of care to the patient
Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete the verification process in PACS

Education and Certification

Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
