Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at Elizabeth River Crossings OpCo, LLC, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities' electrical systems. This includes supervising and coordinating activities related to maintenance, repair, and updating of equipment such as power distribution and associated systems, fire life safety systems, HVAC, water, and stormwater pumps, building and structures, tunnel and roadway lights, and tunnel flood protection systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical repair and maintenance, with a minimum of six years of experience, including one year of supervisory experience. A journeyman electrician license is required, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations, as well as supervisory principles and practices.
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for:
• Assuring that facility maintenance functions are accurately and promptly completed.
• Planning and developing work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of repair expenditures, and procedures for equipment and assets related to building, roadway lighting, and tunnel maintenance.
• Inspecting and documenting facility equipment to determine maintenance needs by visual observation, gages, meters, and other test equipment.
• Studying blueprints and schematics to plan material and labor requirements for tasks.
• Interpreting and understanding applicable building codes, OSHA requirements, and NFPA standards.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate effectively with other departments and personnel. The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, submitting reports, and supporting sections and departments as needed.
