The Sports Facilities Companies is seeking a highly motivated Pool Safety Specialist to join our team at the Artesia Aquatic Center.

Estimated Salary: $12-$15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests in and near the pool area. As a Pool Safety Specialist, you will be the first line of defense in preventing injuries and minimizing hazardous situations.

You will be responsible for enforcing all pool rules, providing patron surveillance, handling injuries and accidents, and providing excellent customer service.

  • Enforce all pool rules and regulations
  • Prevent injuries and minimize hazardous situations
  • Provide patron surveillance whenever a patron is swimming
  • Handle all injuries, accidents, and emergency situations as they arise
  • Arrive to work on time and be prepared for your shift
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current certification in Deep Water Lifeguard Training by the American Red Cross and First Aid, CPR/AED for Lifeguards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older
