We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at GardaWorld. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional security services to our clients, ensuring their safety and security at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe and survey the area, providing detailed reports on any activity or incidents that may occur.
  • Patrols and Checks: Conduct periodic area patrols and perimeter checks to ensure the security of the premises.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, greet guests and employees, and provide information as needed.
  • Account Staffing: Staff new accounts until a permanent Security Officer can be hired.
  • Event Security: Provide security for short-term special events.
  • Fill-in Support: Fill in for officers while they are on vacation, sick, or no call/no show.
  • Critical Response: Respond quickly and effectively in critical situations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents and activities.
  • Regulations and Standards: Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school education or equivalent (GED).
  • Driver's License: Valid California driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
  • Screening: Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
  • Experience: Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, or a related field is an asset.
  • Security License: California state security license and 32hr. BSIS security training.
