Busser - Borracha

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Borracha Mexican Cantina LLC. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• Table Setting and Maintenance: Set and reset tables with clean dishes, silverware, and polished glassware before, during, and after service periods.
• Food and Beverage Service: Pour waters, serve breads, condiments, and side items as necessary, and deliver food to guest tables in an appropriate manner.
• Menu Knowledge and Preparation: Command full menu knowledge at all times and preparation methods.
• Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively with management, chefs, and culinary staff to fulfill and address guest needs and issues.
• Anticipating Guest Needs: Anticipate guests' needs and respond accordingly with a sense of urgency.
• Pre- and Post-Service Tasks: Pre-buss and bus tables during service periods, assist servers with service steps as needed, and maintain general cleanliness in the dining room.
• Equipment Maintenance: Stack and stock side stations with dry goods, extra china, settings, and silverware, and buff/polish glass and silverware as necessary.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including loading/unloading linens and cleaning spills immediately.

• Experience: 2 years of experience as a busser in a similar, high-volume restaurant environment.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills; multilingual is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Must be able to speak and read English proficiently.
• Physical Demands: Physically able to lift and carry at least 50lbs on a tray or arm service, as well as delicate china and glassware, and walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period.
