At Versova Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing the month-end close process, and preparing journal entries.

• Assist with the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and post month-end close journal entries to maintain financial integrity.
• Reconcile weekly and monthly feed invoiced with feed recorded in production records to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile dozens reported within the sales verification with dozens reported in production records to identify any discrepancies.
• Maintain flock records and amortize value accordingly to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained for positions within scope of supervision to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Maintain records of business transactions and product inventories to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead, motivate, and coach a team of direct reports to ensure high-quality work and compliance with accounting standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates are highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be able to sit for long periods of time and work in a general climate-controlled office environment. Occasional visits to operations sites may be required, with varying temperatures depending on season and location.
