Eyewear Consultant

The Optician will be the lead contact for patient care, establishing rapport with patients and other customers, and working collaboratively with staff, management, students, and patients to create an exceptional experience.
This role requires excellent knowledge of optical devices and their applications, as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service, promote and sell optical products, and maintain confidentiality.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Selecting and fitting eyeglasses and accessories;
- Providing follow-up services such as adjustments and repairs;
- Measuring and dispensing spectacles;
- Maintaining supply inventory;
- Reviewing the accuracy of work and recordings made by clinicians;
- Ensuring proper computer record notations are made in accordance with all Federal and State policies;
- Providing feedback on the performance of the optical laboratories and frame companies;
- Responsible for 3rd party and customer billing.
